Korean Lift: a non-surgical face lift in Dubai
Korean Lift is a non-surgical face lift that uses collagen-stimulating injections instead of filler. The aim is skin that looks lifted, firmer and brighter, without added volume. Dr. Yara Al Zaeem offers it for the face and the hands in Jumeirah, Dubai.

What is Korean Lift?
Korean Lift, or الشد الكوري in Arabic, is Dr. Yara's name for a lifting treatment built on collagen stimulators. People also search for it as Korean face lift or Korean facelift. It is an injectable treatment, so it is different from a thread lift and from a surgical facelift.
Unlike filler, its goal is not to add volume. It helps your skin rebuild its own support, and the aim is a lifted look that still looks like you.
How Korean Lift injections work
Collagen is the protein that keeps skin firm. With age the body makes less of it, so the skin slowly loses firmness and starts to sag.
Korean Lift places small amounts of a collagen stimulator into the skin. Over the following weeks, the skin responds by making new collagen, which helps it look firmer and lifted.
Because the change comes from your own collagen, it builds gradually. Dr. Yara explains that the result shows early and keeps improving with time.
Who Korean Lift may suit
Korean Lift may suit you if:
- your skin has started to lose firmness or looks tired
- you want a lifted look without added volume
- you also want better skin quality and glow
- you want to treat the backs of your hands
It may not be right for you during pregnancy or breastfeeding, if you have an active skin infection in the area, or with some medical conditions. Dr. Yara goes through your medical history at the consultation.
Korean Lift, filler, thread lift and surgery: the difference

| Hyaluronic acid filler | A gel placed under the skin to restore volume or shape | Yes | No |
| Thread lift | Dissolvable threads placed under the skin to lift and support it | No | No |
| Surgical facelift | An operation that lifts the tissues and removes excess skin | No | Yes |
At the consultation, Dr. Yara explains whether Korean Lift suits your face and your goals.

Results and how long they last
Results build gradually as your skin makes new collagen. How long they last depends on your skin, your age and the product used, so Dr. Yara tells you what to expect for your plan. Results vary from person to person.
Possible side effects
Like any injection, Korean Lift carries risks. Dr. Yara goes through them with you before treatment.
- Common and short-lived: redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising where the injections were given.
- Less common: small lumps under the skin, which can appear weeks after treatment. Contact the clinic if you notice one.
- Rare: infection or an allergic reaction.

Before and after your session
Before: tell Dr. Yara about all the medicines and supplements you take, especially blood thinners such as aspirin or ibuprofen, and whether you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have any health condition.
After: follow the aftercare Dr. Yara gives you, as it depends on the product used. Contact the clinic if pain gets worse, redness spreads, or a lump does not settle.
